Iron deficiency is a leading cause of anemia, the most common malnutrition worldwide, affecting 42% children worldwide. Most often, iron occurs in first year life and adolescents; its prevalence adolescents has pronounced gender differences. In Russia, it much more girls 17.231.0% cases, which 1.6 times higher than boys. The presence delayed adverse effects at an early age been established, therefore, timely correction sideropenic conditions young important for prevention long-term consequences childs development. article presents two clinical cases anemia adolescent who had life. On example observation, we observe development alopecia against background severe sideropenia as part epithelial syndrome with moderate severity. this case multifactorial maternal during pregnancy, spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage, shunt infection, uncorrected years. second illustrates mixed genesis teenage girl, was result insufficient stores birth, alimentary insufficiency, aggravated heavy, prolonged menstruation. case, there no hair loss, despite course long refractory period therapy. data confirm significance low birth risk developing puberty. During examination children, need to take into account state gastrointestinal tract algorithm diagnosing (detection malabsorption, blood loss) shown.
